Default OP has missed the point
The OP has missed the point. The NC city on his charge was/is the original home of Lowes corporate. From Google Maps:

"North Wilkesboro is the birthplace and original home of Lowe's Home Improvement, which continues to have a major presence in the community." So they are using their original corp address on credit card charges. Nothing untoward going on, unless the amounts were different, which he has failed to clarify (to me anyway) in 2 separate posts.
