Thank you for any information.

After a lifetime of jogging, running (40 miles per week), training for and running a marathon, and daily long-walks (when I couldn't run anymore) and two knee operations (meniscus repair), numerous cortizone injections (that usually lasted until I got home from the doctor's office), Blue EMU, Voltaren, Bio Freeze, and other topical oinments, as well as acquiring an impressive collection of knee braces/wraps my orthopedic surgeon suggested viscosupplementation (an injection of collagen extracted from the comb of roosters). The first round of injections lasted about six months and, so far, the second round has lasted over 4 years. It is covered by most insurance programs (including Medicare) and provides inflamation relief.
