Hi! I had an issue with knee pain. I saw a Physical Therapist who diagnosed my issue as weakness in my hips and prescribed exercises to strengthen my hips. Many times knee pain is a symptom of an issue, as opposed to the source of the issue. My knee issue stopped me from running. I am pretty vigilant about hip exercises and am now back to running. It’s my hope this is helpful.
The stretching advice above is also excellent. Stretching also strengthens. Best to try to go after the cause first.
