It, being OTA TV, is subject to atmospheric conditions and it can be aggravating when a channel drops out or is not strong enough to come through. Also, it is slow to select a channel.
We are happy with it, and you would likely have good success with an outdoor antenna.

I use PLEX for my DVR. I paid for the lifetime program guide. Installing & setting up the Plex DVR is not for novices.
Plex alao has free streaming, easy to use, and will finds something in a different streaming service when they don't have it.
