I'd like to mention a few answers to questions that have come up, in case you may have been wondering:
1. You CAN have both our device and the power company's surge device. Their unit is installed on the meter whereas this device is installed where your main breaker is (typically garage panel).
2. What is the warranty? Lifetime of the device. When it takes a hit, it gets replaced by the manufacturer!
3. Do you have to disconnect power to install it? No, it takes about an hour and your home's electrical is not disturbed during installation
