Self-checkouts are NOT faster when this kind of thing happens and when someone has a full cart to scan. In this day and age when everyone is in a hurry and has no patience for long lines and this kind of thing, this just isn't going to work!!

Very true and poignant. One of the main reasons, we go to Aldi is that there is not a self check out and employees move things faster. They destroy the "savings concept" on self check out.
