There is no way I would ever agree to take a monitor. you can counter all of the assumptions with a constantly recording dash cam, but not worth the time and expense.
Now that now I drive a "big" truck in the villages which is built for golf carts so I go very slowly in most places, but highway driving has so many differing conditions and trying to make up time etc. Plus fast braking has certain safety advantages, to give more time to decide what to do in a non standard scenario. The app makes just way too many assumptions about what should happen.
A low mileage driver can save, but a high mileage driver will have so many scenarios happen, more out of the ordinary than a local only driver, that an app can't account for all the potential variations. . .
