Unnecessary injuries have happened on the golf courses that were caused by a few who took their game far too seriously. It is a game. Win, lose, or draw, you should ALWAYS keep control of your emotions and make adjustments when necessary.
The world stops for you EVERYTIME you tee off? I think you just explained why the golf courses are in bad shape. Too many golfers expecting the workers to stop what they are doing so they can play their game. Even pros in various sports stop a game if there is a sign of danger. Those who cannot should be banned from playing.
I am proud that I play with groups who believe someone's life is more important than the game. They NEVER ask anyone to stop their work or expect a worker to keep track of what adults are doing around them. They do not believe a worker should patiently stop and wait each time someone needs to hit a golf ball. Reporting them for trying to complete their work is ridiculous. It is so much easier for the golfers to avoid the work area and adjust their game. Everyone remains safe and the needed work gets completed.

Yes, the minute or three it takes to tee off really puts a damper in the maintenance of the courses...
There are workers ALL OVER the courses. Should we "skip a shot" every time we see one? That's just plain silly.
The workers know we're there, they pull to the side, turn of their engines for a sec, give us a wave and carry on with their day...
Who ever suggested "reporting the workers"? Certainly not me! Just another red herring to support your ridiculous argument...
In your fantasy scenario, we'd be forgoing tee shots, 2nd shots, chips to the green, etc, etc, etc...
But I'm sure you just pick up your ball and soldier on...
Do you use those REALLY long tees when you tee of from your pedestal of virtue?
And once again, I NEVER mentioned idiots fighting on the course. YOU are the one who keeps bringing up that foolishness...
Grasp at straws much?
