The Democrats would have a much better argument against drilling if they used better rationalization.

I mean, if they said they didn't want to drill because it would only put more carbon into the atmosphere and produce other environmental problems and THEREFORE - we'll put resources into wind, solar, nuclear, etc... But look at what's going on in Massachusetts with the obstacles to wind farms, just as an example.

It's really depressing to hear someone object to something with no alternative plan. But it's worse when there IS an alternative and it's allowed to languish! At least puchin the alternative would give some weight to the objections over drilling!
