That is the ground where I had a bad crimp that was causing me issues last winter. The cart wouldn’t start, but if I rocked the cart back and forth I got it to work for a while until it happened again. I noticed a burnt spot through the clear crimp housing where the connection was loose and overheating. I cut out the crimp and soldered the wire and used heat shrink tubing and a heat gun to seal up the fix and all has been good since the easy fix. Hopefully the OP’s problem is the same issue with an easy fix.
