Is that company pricey? Can't say for sure but the results seem worth the cost. I believe the molding is MDF...a good choice since it doesn't warp. Where pieces are joined together...you can't see. The wood used is up to 16 feet long so there are fewer seams and as I said, it seems impossible to find where pieces joined.
I just went to their website which states they only use wood products in their FAQ section. They have a section where you can view photographs of work they've completed. Their work looks flawless and their prices are excellent! I just bookmarked the page for a future reference.
