You need a landlord policy that provides a significant amount of liability coverage. Deeding the house as an LLC may offer some protection, but it is not anywhere close to the way that you stated it, especially if you only have one rental property. An LLC is a limited liability company, not a corporation. It is mostly a name registration. Ask an attorney to explain what protection it may or may not provide.
