Agree all contractors are willing to "discuss" price...some more than others and it definitely pays to shop around.
Talked with my friend today, and she is having the 5+ throughout the house and the cost is in the ballpark of what's on the website....and it isn't MDF being used, it's solid wood. They are working as I type. Can't wait to take a look when the installation is completed.

I have seen my model done with larger molding, 8+ inches I believe it was. Personally, I prefer the 5+ for myself. Could have to do with how I have my house decorated. I agree it's a choice you make wisely since it goes up once.
