'If a tree falls in the Forest and no-one is around to hear it does it make a noise?', is a well known philosophical question. In the case of CNN, the question is, "If you send out the news over cable and no-one watches, was there picture, sound and information?'
CNN has lost 68% of its audience because it provides a product that few want. Should it change to providing a product that people are willing to watch or should it simply go out of business? The loss of Lou Dobbs is a real step towards the latter choice.
I also miss Tim Russert on Sunday mornings. That was my usual start for a lazy Sunday AM.
