I agree with Halle. I have a vinyl privacy fenced yard that is completely enclosed, yet we do not leave our dogs out back unattended. We pick up after them and that is not a problem either. In our age restricted subdivision, we can only have one type of fence unless the house is on a corner, they can have a white vinyl picket fence. Others have the six foot white vinyl privacy fencing. Limiting the type of fencing would solve the problem of a conglomeration of types of fences and it does give a uniform appearance. Some older people like us are disabled and cannot take our dogs walking or to a doggie park. I occasionally have someone from an adjoining subdivision walking a dog who takes a dump on the front lawn, but one time they see me at the window, they usually pick it up. If not, then out comes my scooper and plastic bag. Buc, we are old and fat, so I understand what you are saying. It may well be time for TV to reconsider the need for and use of fences.
