Remembering those lost on this Memorial Day 2024.


I volunteered for a year of Saturday afternoons at the Veterans Hospital in Reno, Nevada in 1977-1978. I recall there were veterans of US wars from the Spanish American War through WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. I volunteered on the long term care wing. Patients were around late 20s through almost 100 years old.

I was thinking of pre-med at the time but found the memorizing involved with the Chemistry and Calculus a bit much.
