The science has disproven the theory that "loud pipes saves lives", over & over & over again.

It's a cute sound bite, for riders that think they're cool and don't care about the noise impact to others.

Here in The Villages, the commercial lawn mowers are often louder than the motorcycle, cars, and trucks. I can get annoyed by lawnmowers 2 and 3 houses down from me. I will turn up my TV or music to block it out. A really aware residential area would FORCE the use of electrical commercial lawn mowers. I don't expect that here in my lifetime.
