Just curious, not only about your neighbor's, but others on here, who have given various companies an "excellent" rating. Is it more on the merit of TECHNIQUES used (there are a LOT of little ways to cut corners in application, the number of nails per strip (obviously a using a 12 is going to cost the contractor more than 6 or 8 to a strip, and there are several ways to do the valleys, drips, etc. but are the techniques why some villagers give an "excellent" and others only "average" ? Or is it more that the company has a very personable sales person ? Or because the company has been very responsive to others who may have encountered a problem with their "new roof" ? Or, do most people base their rating on the lowest price ? Or the ability to set a quick date for the job ? Or a fast one day job and a very careful cleanup (of nails) of debris ? Or do people generally take ALL of those into consideration before rating ?
