I have a Yamaha factory four seater with the back facing rear seat. I would personally not be crazy about a long ride facing backward but I have not heard complaints from guests who have survived it. The factory installed back facing seats are superior to the aftermarket seats IMO. THE factory installed seats are deeper and thus more comfortable and I think the suspension is beefed up. Also, my back seat can be lifted with a cooler underneath which can be used to carry groceries or anything else that you need. I seldom need the extra seat but I subscribe to the old saying “I’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it”.
