Metabolic syndrome is caused by the breakdown of cell function from too much glucose in the blood stream. Sugar is that source. Just because you ENJOY sugar doesn't make it healthy! Sugar has the dopamine effect in the brain just like many drugs. sugar has no beneficial function in your body.
