I would just caution that higher price doesn't necessarily equate to better in the bourbon world (as much as some people would like to think so). But there are some local stores that have store pick single barrel bottlings that might be interesting to check out. I always like to hit Bob's when I'm down there. There is always a good selection and also has a few store picks. I look less at bourbon and more at scotch these days, but that doesn't stop me from scoping out the selection. And it is pretty impressive for both whisk(e)y types (and more than a couple Japanese as well). Prices there always seem reasonably solid as well, but not always. So be informed when you look.
