There should be a drain pan under the evaporator coil. If that is where the water is located, you need to dry out the pan and clean it. Then pour clean water in the pan and see of it drains out through the condensate pipe. There should also be an electric float switch that will shut off the HVAC system if the water level gets too high in the drain pan. In most units, condensation dripping off of the evaporator coil is the only source of water. I don't know if that will stop the buzzing noise.

Note that you can also buy a spray cleaner to clean the evaporator coil if it is dirty.
