Minnesota (where I hail from) and Long Island do share one thing. Winter. And that means snow. Often lots of it. In my four years here I INFINITELY prefer a "winter" in TV than back in Minnesota. You obviously have never lived on Long Island where you're surrounded by water.
Winters are mild, no comparison to Minnesota, where in September I saw snow flurries.
