I highly recommend going through the college, and signing up for "Line Dancing for Dummies", taught by Jan Ramsey. She starts at the very beginning, and has the patience of a saint! Try the rec centers, and you will most likely get a bit frustrated. At least that was our experience. We (wife & I) have now taken Line Dancing for Dummies 5 times and are now comfortable with dancing 3 -4 of the most popular (easy) dances. Jan's classes are worth every penny you pay!
