Thank you for your detailed reply jjref. We feel that if your hot water heater is 10 years or older, or if you have not routinely checked or maintained the heater, you may find yourself in need of replacing it suddenly due to failure or will suddenly begin to notice issues (leaks, foul odor, lack of hot water or efficiency, etc.) . Luckily for most they find themselves getting many years out of the existing tank but we offer our services (when the time comes) and are happy to be part of Talk of The Villages. Not meant to be scare tactic.
