Postal employees at Wildwood know some of their customers by name, so must be a popular to still send cards.
I know cards I send to family and friends end up on social media “Look what I got in the mail today, I am Loved.” My daughter in law takes cards displaying on shelves, in her office so her patients and employees can see what new card came.

I guess I should’ve expanded on my premise....it was half jokingly, but more on your earlier comment on the ‘efficiency’ of anything USPS related...getting to its destination on time (ie; bills etc). So following that narrative...maybe send the holiday cards out around Halloween!
