A man who wants to be president? Does the Villages ever invite prominent liberals to sign books at Barnes & Noble? (Do not infer from this question that I am a liberal, because I am not. I am better described as somebody who wonders about the political environment in the Villages fostered by the developer and the Daily Sun.) Thanks.

I would say that Beck Is an activist. He is a conservative. By his own admission, he spent much of his early life as a low life with a drinking problem. Hence, he would not vet very well in a presidential race.
I am sure that any liberal with a best selling book would be invited. Would they accept? I am not sure.
BTW I heard that liberals want a separate New York times Liberal best sellers list because the conservative books are hogging the list.
Seriously, I think if you leave out the Democrat / Republican labels and use the Conservative / Liberal labels, you will find that The Villages will reflect the same as the country as a whole.
