Have not read this in any of the posts about getting service, so I bring it up now. If you are getting a new house, just built, then plan ahead with comcast. We close next week and called, today thinking that is plenty of time for an appointment to be made. Not so, we have to wait 7 to 10 days for the local office to input our address into the system, then we can call back and get an appointment for hookup. We have a space shuttle orbiting the earth right now but it takes comcast 7/10 days to input an address. I hate media monopolies. They can not even tell me how many channels we will getting. Still searching for the answer on telephone service. Do any of you just use a cell phone and what about having 911 with only a cell?
