Obviously a majority of residents aren’t dual land owners. It will be interesting to see how candidates lean, towards the majority who aren’t STR landlords, or towards the minority and the developer?

The topic is very important to many voters. It certainly will be a tough path to navigate politically.

Great and valid comment. To put it bluntly I am totally against the short term rentals/air B&b/**** in our residential communities. They are generally disruptive and a detriment to the community. Long term rentals I have no problem with as most become neighbors and friends, they just don’t want all the issues that may come with home ownership. Unfortunately the state government is protecting the industries and have made it extremely difficult for local governments to take action against them.
