There is some cleared land there abutting a golf course (can't remember the name). A herd of them had gone through there the evening before and had totally shredded the sod. Unfortunately they do more than just destroy land. They also destroy crops and spread disease. You can hunt or trap them at any time in Florida on public land subject to certain times and conditions, and (with permission of owner) on private land. No license required and no quota.
