If I want to practice speed swimming etc (having been on the swim team for many years) I do it when the pool is empty. And it is considered socializing as you walk and talk in the pools which we often do just like strolling with your family on the street. Light aerobics rarely bothers anyone, you are usually doing it in one spot. Swimming is hard to do without splashing and in one spot.

How do you practice speed swimming in an adult pool, even if the pool is totally empty? I would slam my head into the side of the pool without those markings on the bottom of the pool.
