That's not unusual.
I had a problem with my Dish Network setup here in New Hampshire. After a service call was cancelled by them because of weather (it was this past winter), they called me to reschedule. They told me that, due to fallout from the storms we'd had, that they couldn't get someone out to my house for another 11 days.
I told them I was sure that DirecTV would have someone at my house in 2 days. They said they'd call me back. 10 minutes later, they called back saying they'd "found" an installer who "just had a cancellation" and would be at my house in less than 48 hours..
Such good fortune on my part, don't you think? *Imagine* the coincidence!
Did I mention that I'd been a premium customer for 9 years?
