Normal? In the majority is the best we can likely hope for. A good solid "C". Average.
All in all, average ain't bad. A lot of abnormalities in our bodies and brains are the result of DNA damage, causing the child to take on characteristics different then what they might have been. Also, during formation from zygote , fetus to baby, things can occur that result in all kinds of different or abnormal physical and/or mental development. I harbor no ill against anyone for their differences. But, I believe I am what nature made me. I believe we are all what nature made us. We are, imo, not necessarily what we imagine ourselves to be or what we artificially modify ourselves to imitate.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The EGG! IMHO, a chicken like dinosaur laid an egg and something (heat, cold, radiation, infection) damaged the DNA in the fertile egg enough to create the first chick. "Mutation isn't always a bad thing." I think Col. Sanders said that.
