Our summer (dry) heat only lasted about 3 months, and the evenings were always much cooler. No Lightning storms either. Ever. Having experienced AZ heat in summer I can’t imagine loving it. Same here - came from West Coast (first California then Colorado), and came very close to retiring in Arizona, since that is where most western retirees flock. So glad I chose Florida over Arizona. Even with humidity, summers are far more tolerable weather-wise here in Florida.
