As I understand it, you can purchase a rideshare "rider" to your regular auto insurance policy that will extend your liability coverage to paying passengers.

Sunbiz.org is the state of Florida's business website. I looked it up to check Dave's Airport Transportation before we used them. Their licensing # is L18000277711 . Dave's when we asked provided us a copy of their commercial insurance too. Private car services must have permits to service airports and cruise ports, the ONLY way to obtain permits is that they must have commercial insurance policies, NOT auto policies! Research it, you are incorrect about rideshare being acceptable, they can't obtain the permits. Look at posts about Capri Transportation getting caught at Port Canaveral and leaving people stranded when the port authority caught them without permits.
