My total bill has gone from about $220 to $240 during that 5 year period, a total increase of about 10 percent, which is less than the inflation rate. During my last contract renewal, the Xfinity representative told me that their policy was to not increase the basic cost for service when a customer renews a contract. Note that there are some charges that are not controlled by Xfinity. Also, some people forget to renew their contract before it expires, and they lose the contract discounts, causing their bill to increase. Specifically, what type of increases did you experience that are different from mine?

We could have gotten a deal 4 1/2 years ago but bill has gone from about $ 100 to 185. Internet speed has gone up but has happy with where it was so no more value to me. Just have basic package for this entire period.
