Co2 was basically in control about 15 years ago then population grew and factories and automobile around the world started spewing out CO2 , apparently in excess of what the oceans (and trees) could absorb. The end result is HEAT REFLECTED BACK TO THE eARTH AND THE record TEMPERATURES. Note-----July 22 2024 was the Earths hottest ever recorded day ! YES, more trees would help but more population is demanding more trees get cut down. And when someone (like myself) points this out, it generates vitreal and push back because the status quo has inertia behind it.
