In 2024, I think more people know about insurance being an issue. In 2021, when I bought, I don’t recall it being an issue. In fact, when we bought, I remarked at how low insurance was. Auto and home have gone up about 50% since then with no claims.

My state income tax has remained steady at 0% and property taxes have gone up less than 5%.
