The answer - in case she's reading this: You have to let pedestrians CONTINUE to cross, once they've already left the curb. You don't have to stop and wait for them to do that, especially if they're not at an actual crosswalk. You held up traffic for a pedestrian who was doing what he knew he was supposed to do. You were wrong. I'm just glad I was paying attention and was able to swerve to the side without hitting you when you came to your abrupt halt.
Probably same one’s that stop at yield signs entering roundabout when no one coming and blow through 4 way stop when the have traffic on their right that beat them to intersection. For those that don’t know you’re not in line till you stop at 4 way stops
