“Marketing” Definition…
Marketing encompasses every part of a plan to turn a prospective consumer into a happy and satisfied customer. It includes everything from market research to advertising. The goal of marketing is to convince a person that your product is worth investing in, establish brand loyalty and increase overall sales.
This definition said, my experience, and others there- confused as I was - did not promote a positive experience or view of this particular DD location. What was so peculiar to me at that time was that this BW location does a great business, foibles and all. So one would assume a simple sign explaining why they are closed would have eliminated this entire TOTV posting.
