Our daughter used to work for a digital marketing firm in Boston that had DD as their client. The company dropped Doughnuts from their name, and went to just Dunkin’, because they wanted a more health conscious image and didn’t want to be associated with an extremely unhealthy product made out of white flour, fried in grease, and coated with sugar (a diabetic nightmare). Their profit margin is in coffee. We prefer to brew our own coffee, but if I were looking to buy a cup and had the option, I would choose Dunkin’ over Starbucks every time. Their hot french vanilla with cream, and no sugar, is delicious.
