Yes, I read about taxes and fees and equipment charges but in one of the posts the OP wrote that he has none of their equipment. Are they increasing the charge for the equipment whether or not you have any equipment?
If Quantum has a BECAUSE-WE'RE-LOSING-MONEY fee that allows them to increase the Price-for-Life billing whenever they desire, is that not misleading to the point of being a lie? EDIT: Back in 2019 this was called the Internet Cost Recovery Fee and was determined to be illegal in Colorado.

I recently went with the Quantum offer of $35/month "price for life". Really, why not? Beats the heck out of Xfinity (Comcast) that wanted over $100/month for less internet speed. I read the fine print that excludes the equipment/fees and if they gradually increase the price it will still be a long time before their price even gets near Xfinity's. As for the "price for life", nowhere does it say YOUR LIFE. Price for life as long as they offer that service. Is it an advertising trick? Sure. But I'll take the savings.
