If they aren't like that when you buy them but, become that way after having them at home - where are you storing them?

If in a high temperature area, like a garage or shed, that is likely affecting the plastic. Also, plastics in high heat can leach into beverage bottles - not a good thing.

Or if you keep them in the fridge but, Walmart had them stored in a hot area, that significant temperature shift could be causing that to happen.
