I don't know why your neighbors would be concerned if you had a POD in your driveway for a even a week or so. If they can't be understanding of a new neighbor (or one packing out) it is not a neighborhood worth residing in. PODs cost more for the length of time you keep them, so it's not like anyone wishes to spend more money just to allow their household goods to sit in a hot container. Like I said, if neighbors are concern about something so trivial, then they are not "neighbors." If they were "good neighbors" they would be over there offering their assistance. I've lived in two neighborhoods and the neighbors were exceptional in both.
