Ok, I figured out when I take shower how much water I use (based on my shower head) based on my method cutting water off when it don’t need to run.
It’s takes 30 seconds for hot water to reach my back master shower which takes 1 gallon of water to get hot water back there.
Now I start showering
It takes me 89 seconds water running to shower using 2.6 gallons or 9.84 liters of water.
From start to finish 119 seconds and 3.6 gallons/ 13.62 liters.
I was guessing I was using 6 gallons or more, but was way lower than my guest amount! 
When water ration comes I’ll have to figure out how use that 1 gallon water waiting on hot water to get to shower? No sense let gallon water go down drain under rationing  |
Do you pay attention to your water bill usage ? Buy a low flow shower head and compare .
