Ok, I figured out when I take shower how much water I use (based on my shower head) based on my method cutting water off when it don’t need to run.

It’s takes 30 seconds for hot water to reach my back master shower which takes 1 gallon of water to get hot water back there.

Now I start showering
It takes me 89 seconds water running to shower using 2.6 gallons or 9.84 liters of water.

From start to finish 119 seconds and 3.6 gallons/ 13.62 liters.

I was guessing I was using 6 gallons or more, but was way lower than my guest amount!

When water ration comes I’ll have to figure out how use that 1 gallon water waiting on hot water to get to shower? No sense let gallon water go down drain under rationing
Water rationing won’t happen in “the free state of Florida.” You must be worried about the desert SW & Cali. Their water wars would be solved if they’d build desalination plants in Cali, capture snow melt & stop allowing landscaping that’s not native to the area, like turf grass. Additionally, Mexico has no right to US water yet we allow them to pull from our water resources. Florida has the opposite problemmost of the time—too much water.
