Oddly enough there was the right number of FULL bottles in the case, so this was an extra, empty, flattened bottle that slipped in during the packaging process somehow.

As for your Pepsi situation, no I haven't experienced it. I also buy those at Walmart every couple of weeks. $6.98 for 12 bottles of Pepsi is a great deal and hubby loves his Pepsi. But if you do experience it, find the receipt, and just bring in the bottle. They'll probably let you take a cold one from their fridge in exchange.

You can also write to Pepsi to complain, and they might even send you a coupon good for a whole case to apologize. Some companies do that.
