Many of the homes in The Villages have tile from one end to the other with no carpeting to be seen. I suppose mobile homes should be recommended for most Villages since a good number of them have incontinence issues.
Good luck to the OP in finding a suitable rental, they are out there.
For clarification: we do not have any indoor pets. But many of our friends do have them and the pets add dimension and value to their lives and their homes are immaculate. So why not?

And unlike dogs, cats use a litter box, not a grassy yard. Also cats are QUIET & can be left alone for more extended absences than dogs can be (BTW I have one tiny dog, NO cats, but my dog always travels with me due to her blindness & insulin-dependent diabetes. At this point, I am her support human 🥴)
All Hilton chain hotels are now pet-friendly. (Hampton, Home2, Hilton every Hilton brand) Home2Suites by Hilton was their trail-blazing pet-friendly brand. There is a newer Home2Suites in Wildwood. Your request for non-carpeted floors means you are aware that shedding fur is a major concern for furniture & carpeting but if you are honest & willing to pay extra cleaning & damage deposits, you’ll probably find what you are looking for inside TV if that’s what you prefer. There are several rental websites for homes in & near TV & some MLS realtors also have rental listings. Many apartments are being built adjacent to TV too. Good luck!
