They sell an H shaped piece of galvanized steel (or it could have been aluminum, I didn't pay attention) that is used to stiffen gate posts. After you locate the end post you drive the h shaped price inside the end post. The posts in the middle didn't need anything, just buried, the one against the house I used a tapcon and fender washer into the house.
That's an old junk hose reel I overhauled and painted baby blue (tight wad).
