Best movie I've seen in years. Seeing the normalcy of the America I grew up in, made my heart ache. Seeing Reagan stand up to the Soviets made me proud to be an American again. The characters looked and even sounded like the real people -- even minor characters like Michael Deaver. Dennis Quaid had Reagan's voice down pat, without sounding like a Reagan impersonator. The movie was political, in the sense of Reagan's life-long dream to defeat communism, but not political in the modern, hateful, sense. The politics was far overshadowed by the love story with Nancy.

It was a hero-worship movie, but Lord knows, we could use a few more American heroes these days. When he rode off into the sunset, I cried.
